Artworks I create under the pseudonym Eternal Stillth are meant to remind non other than myself to take it easy. They are heavily inspired by dreams, real-life experiences and music. In my work, I aim to embrace the deepest, most haunting of emotions - the unsettling kind that follows you home.
I developed a liking for art at age 5 and although my ambitions of going to art school became a thing of the past, I teach by day and create art whenever I can.
I began my journey in 2003 doing commission-based pencil portraits and worked afterwards with acrylics on canvas.
After a long break from creating (thank you, life), I attempted a return in 2021 but failed due to work-related burnout. Come 2023 and giving it my utmost best, I am determined to make another attempt to come back with an official blog and upcoming digital art collections.
My name is Ira - pronounced EER-ruh -, born and raised in Singapore and currently located in Germany.
